Delta of the Ganges River
A river delta lying mostly in the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent, which is made up of Bangladesh and India's state of West Bengal. The largest river delta in the world, it pours the joined waters of several river systems, chiefly the Ganges and the Brahmaputra, into the Bay of Bengal.
