An Art Deco statue of Jesus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, designed by the French-Polish sculptor Paul Landowski and built by the Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, working with the French engineer Albert Caquot; the Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida carved the face. Built between 1922 and 1931, it stands 30 metres (98 ft) tall, not counting its 8-metre (26 ft) pedestal, and looks east.

Mirante do Vale

Skyscraper in São Paulo, Brazil

Also called Palácio W. Zarzur, or Palácio Zarzur Kogan after its architects, a mixed-use skyscraper 170 m (558 ft) tall in Downtown São Paulo, by the Vale do Anhangabaú. Built from 1959 to 1966, it was São Paulo's tallest building for 54 years, until Platina 220 overtook it in 2022.
