Lake and national park in Burkina Faso
A national park in Burkina Faso built around a lake, set up in 1937 and, in 1977, named the country's only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The park surrounds a freshwater lake and takes in nearby pools and marshes on the Black Volta's floodplain, and the forests around them.
