Also called the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of Mary, a Roman Catholic basilica in Poreč, a town in Istria, Croatia. Its episcopal complex, taking in the basilica, a baptistery, a sacristy and the bell tower belonging to the nearby archbishop's palace, is a fine example of early Byzantine architecture in the Mediterranean.

Properly the Amphitheatre in Pula, a Roman amphitheatre in Pula, Istria, Croatia. Built between 27 BC and AD 14, under Augustus, and later enlarged under Vespasian, it is among the world's best-preserved ancient Roman amphitheatres, and the only one left whose entire circular wall still stands.
