A British Overseas Territory and city at the Iberian Peninsula's southern tip, on the Bay of Gibraltar, near where the Mediterranean opens into the Atlantic. It covers 6.8 km² (2.6 sq mi) and borders Spain to the north. The Rock of Gibraltar dominates the landscape, with a crowded town at its foot.
