Seat of the Parliament of Romania
The seat of Romania's Parliament, on Dealul Spirii in Bucharest, the capital, first planned in Communist times as the People's House or House of the Republic. It rises 84 m (276 ft), goes 92 m (302 ft) below ground, and has 365,000 m² (3,930,000 sq ft) of floor area and a volume of 2,550,000 m³ (90,000,000 cu ft).

Ship canal in Romania
A navigable canal in Romania from Cernavodă on the Danube, in two branches, to Năvodari and Constanța on the Black Sea. Run from Agigea, it is a key part of the waterway between the Black Sea and the North Sea through the Rhine–Main–Danube Canal.
