Volcano in Africa
A stratovolcano of the Virunga Mountains on the border of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At 4,507 metres (14,787 ft) it is the highest of the range's eight major mountains; the range is part of the Albertine Rift, the western arm of the East African Rift.

Mountain on the Rwanda–Uganda border
Also spelled Mount Muhavura, an inactive volcano of the Virunga Mountains on the Rwanda–Uganda border. At 4,127 metres (13,540 ft), it is the third-highest of the range's eight main mountains; the range belongs to the Albertine Rift, the East African Rift's western branch.

UNESCO World Heritage Site
A national memorial and World Heritage Site in Rwanda honouring the Tutsi killed in the 1994 genocide. It is built around a former church in Nyamata, a town roughly 30 km (19 mi) south of the capital, Kigali, where thousands of Tutsi were murdered.
