Glacier in Tajikistan
Also called the Fedchenko Glacier, a large, long and narrow glacier in the Yazgulem Range of the Pamirs, in north-central Gorno-Badakhshan, Tajikistan. It currently stretches for 77 kilometres (48 mi), over an area of more than 700 square kilometres (270 sq mi).

A peak rising to 6,723 m (22,057 ft) in the Shakhdara Range of the Pamirs, in south-western Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, Tajikistan, just north of the Panj River and the Afghan border. It is named after Karl Marx, the German philosopher whose theories underlie communism and socialism.

Place in Khatlon Region, Tajikistan
A valley in Tajikistan running east–west along the southern slopes of the Hisar Range, on Khatlon Province's northern border. Roughly 100 km in length and as much as 20 km across at its middle, it reaches westward from Vahdat district to Tursunzoda district, on the Uzbek border, with Hisar district and Dushanbe, the capital, in the centre.

Officially the Republic of Tajikistan, a landlocked Central Asian country. Dushanbe, the capital and biggest city, has over 1.2 million people. Kyrgyzstan lies to its north, China to its east, Afghanistan to its south and Uzbekistan to its west, and Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor narrowly separates it from Pakistan.
