Waterfall on the Victoria Nile in Western Region, Uganda
Also called Kabalega Falls, a waterfall in Uganda, on the White Nile at the head of Lake Albert. At its top the Nile squeezes through a gap in the rock just 7 m (23 ft) wide and falls 43 m (141 ft), then flows west into Lake Albert.

Volcano in Kenya and Uganda
An extinct shield volcano on the Kenya–Uganda border, west of Kitale, east of Mbale and north of Kisumu. Its highest point, "Wagagai", lies wholly inside Uganda.

Mountain in Central Africa
Also called Mount Ngaliema, a mountain of the Rwenzori range, 5,109 m (16,763 ft) high: the highest in both Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the fourth-highest in Africa.

Lake in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo
A lake in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, first called Lake Mwitanzige by the Banyoro and Nam Ovoyo Bonyo by the Alur, and for a time Lake Mobutu Sese Seko. It is the sixth-largest lake in Africa and the second-biggest of Uganda's Great Lakes.

Mosque located in Kampala Hill, Uganda
Formerly the Gaddafi National Mosque, a mosque on Kampala Hill, in the Old Kampala area of Kampala, Uganda. It is East Africa's biggest mosque, in a country where 13.7% of people were Muslim as of 2014.

Large shallow lake in Uganda
Also spelled Lake Kioga, a large, shallow Ugandan lake of about 1,720 km² (660 sq mi), 1,033 metres above sea level. The Victoria Nile passes through it between Lake Victoria and Lake Albert.

Mountain in Uganda
The second-highest mountain of the Ruwenzori range, in Uganda's Ruwenzori Mountains National Park. With Mount Baker and Mount Stanley it forms a triangle around the upper Bujuku Valley.

Officially the Republic of Uganda, a landlocked East African country. Kenya lies to its east, South Sudan to its north, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to its west, Rwanda to its south-west and Tanzania to its south. Its southern part takes in a large share of Lake Victoria, which it shares with Tanzania and Kenya.
