Waterfall in Zambia
Also called Sioma Falls, a waterfall on the Zambezi in Zambia's Western province, near Sioma town, a few hundred kilometres upstream of Victoria Falls. It lies in southern Barotseland, a day's drive from Lusaka, the capital.

A waterfall with a single drop of 235 metres (772 ft), on the Kalambo River, on the border of Zambia and Tanzania's Rukwa Region at the south-east end of Lake Tanganyika, and one of Africa's tallest uninterrupted falls.

Archaeological site in Zambia
A wooden structure from the Lower Palaeolithic, two pieces of which were found with other wooden tools at the Kalambo Falls site in Zambia. Luminescence dating puts it at no less than 476,000 years old, making it the oldest known wooden structure, older than the first known Homo sapiens.

International crossing of the Zambezi River
A bridge for road and rail across the Zambezi at Kazungula, linking Botswana and the Zambian town of the same name. It is 923-metre-long (3,028 ft) and 18.5-metre-wide (61 ft), with a longest span of 129 metres (423 ft).

Lake in Zambia and Congo DR
A freshwater lake on the longest arm of the Congo, Africa's second-longest river, on the border of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It accounts for 110 kilometres (68 mi) of the river's course, between the Luapula (upstream) and the Luvua (downstream).

Lake in Zambia
A freshwater lake in northern Zambia made up of several embayments. On almost every side except the southwest it is ringed by the Bangweulu Wetlands, among the great wetland systems of the world: permanent swamps with smaller lakes, lagoons and countless channels, grassy floodplains flooded by season, and dambos on the edges of dry land, which is mostly miombo woodland.

Transnational bridge connecting Zambia and Zimbabwe
A bridge over the Zambezi just below Victoria Falls, spanning the falls' Second Gorge. Because the river is the Zambia–Zimbabwe border, the bridge links the two countries, with border posts on the approaches at both ends, in Livingstone, Zambia, and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
